Great food, great service, great prices. We're in town from Maryland and my daughter wanted to try alligator for her birthday. She loved it! Kids menu portions are enormous. My shrimp Po Boy hit the spot. Would definitely recommend.

Food is still good, some of their portions have gotten smaller for the same price. I gave it three stars because the service on a slow time of the day was dragging(we were one of the three tables in the house) then when I received my order, a bowl of seafood gumbo it was all broth with 3 shrimps and some shreds of crab. For a $12 bowl of gumbo? I don't think so! Go over to Capt. Tom's if you want a real bowl of gumbo, otherwise order something else off the menu. Boudin balls are always on point as is the fried catfish and shrimp.

My husband had a craving for boiled crabs when he saw the sign advertising them. We placed our order and fortunately the server said they would be barbecued with a barbecue sauce. We asked to have them boiled instead but unfortunately I did not ask what kind of seasoning they used and they were smothered in Old Bay seasoning. Floyd's is a Cajun restaurant. I'm from LA and Cajun people don't put a northern seasoning on their crabs. The crabs had been previously cooked and reheated so they were quite mushy. Our server Rob was very efficient though and very good at his job! On a positive side the beer was cold and the music was great.

It was quiet in the dining area, and our waitress left us to talk. The ahi tuna was awesome, and the service was great. Quiet on Sunday pm if you like laid back, and not to be felt rushed, while still having great service go here.

I would give 5 stars but the service has kind of plummeted. It wasn't always like that maybe the server was just having a stressful day. But as always the lobster fingers were great. The sweet potato fries were kind of under cooked and hard but just my opinion.
